Wine Appreciation Course
Wine Appreciation is an eight week class designed to provide a basic
understanding of wine. You will be introduced to the various components of wine in a "Component tasting". In addition to sampling a variety of wine (4-6 per class), topics will include; Wine graps, "Old World vs. New World" wines, wine service, purchasing and storing wines. You'll also learn why Riedel Stemware truly enhances the wine in the glass.
- Week One - Wine Terms, Tasting Process and Wine Components

- Week Four - Wine Regions (Outside US), same varietal different regions

The Advanced Vino Academy Course
The Cost is $99 for the entire four week course
The Vino Academy Advanced Class is a four week class designed to further enhance the knowledge learned from the Wine Appreciation Course. You will
learn specific grape varietals and “how to” indentify them using sensory tools
Week One
· You will learn Evaluation and Identification Techniques for Wine
· Will learn to identify 4 White Wines from various regions in the world
Week Two
- Blind Tasting using sensory evaluation tools
- Reveal each wine and get feedback on each
- Basic food pairing with white wines
Week Three
- Will learn to identify 4 Red Wines from various regions in the world using sensory evaluation tools
Week Four
- Blind Tasting using sensory evaluation tool
- Reveal each wine and get feedback on each
- Basic food and wine pairing with Red Wines
($10 discount given to Monthly Wine Club Members and Wine Appreciation Course Graduatues)
